As most of you might know, Amelia’s daughter Princess has been giving
several infants and babies a home since January 2001. Very quickly, her
hut was overcrowded. One single bedroom did not suffice any more.
Therefore, Christmas 2001 we launched a donation appeal in order to
finance a new house for Princess and her children. Thanks to your
generosity the building is finished by now. Just some final touches need
to be made. Princess and her husband Gift now have 95 square meters space
for 12 children and themselves in the two-story house. Like her mother
Amelia, Princess sacrifices herself providing a home for an increasing
number of orphans.
So far, building costs amount to
€ 7.000. Although the house itself is finished now, maintenance costs
and the cost of living for the big "family" require your help
again as orphanages are not being financed by the South-African state. We
must rely on you. In case you should have any questions, please do not
hesitate us to send a mail. We will be happy to provide you with any
information desired and will be glad to introduce you to Amelia and/or
Princess if you come for a visit.
